Now comes the part where we prove that our master Muhammad P.B.U.H was truly a Messenger of Allah.
We shall begin with evaluating the possibilities:
1. He P.B.U.H was insincere hence forged the Qur’an
2. He P.B.U.H was sincere but was deluded by experiances
3. He P.B.U.H was sincerely and truly bringing revelation from the Creator
We shall begin by disproving the first. For a person to be forging a book and fervently spreading a message which he was insincere about, he must have a good reason to do so. If one studies the biography of Him P.B.U.H, and reads the Qur’an with it’s context, one will not be able to find a single solid reason for forging a message. If one were to say that he wanted leadership, we would ask why? He clearly led an ascetic lifestyle which negates the notion that it was a material persuit. It is thus clear that he was sincere, disproving the premise for the “forgery” scenario.
Now we are left only with the last two possibilities. If we were to consider the second possibility, what could he be deluded about? If one were to suggest a demonic character of some sort, we would say, analyse his life and you will find no such influence. We are then left with only the possibility of his message, the Qur’an, being sent to him by other than him i.e. revelation. When we say prophet we mean precisely this, that he received revelation from his creator.
In this simple manner we have proven to the fair-minded that Sayyidinah Muhammad Salawat Rabbi wa Salamuhu Alayh was truly a messenger of the creator…
